EEOC Suffers Loss in War on Separation Agreements

Earlier this year, employers and employment law bloggers were going crazy about an EEOC lawsuit that appeared to challenge routine provisions in separation agreements (see my post, EEOC vs. Separation Agreements). At the time I wrote, "Of course, the Court may just tell the EEOC to shove it . . . . "

Well, it sounds like that's what the court did (presumably in a more professional manner). Bloomberg BNA reports: Judge in Chicago Dismisses EEOC Suit Challenging CVS Health's Severance Pacts. Judge Darrah granted CVS's motion to dismiss, but we don't have a written opinion yet. I'm looking forward to reading it.
