According to a recent survey by job-placement firm Manpower, 84% of employees plan to look for a new position in 2011. That's up from just 60% last year. The bad news for employers is that about 5 in 6 employees want to leave. The good news for employers is that there should be plenty of applicants for any openings.
Of course, the bad news for everyone is that this is all against a backdrop of high unemployment. Furthermore, it signals that employees are currently dissatisfied which is bad for employers and employees alike.
