- Say it ain't so! Eddie Money is facing sexual harassment (and other discrimination) allegations from his former drummer and the drummer's wife. Confession: I'm a closet Eddie Money fan, and even saw him in concert circa 1996).
- In another shocking defeat for hot people everywhere: It's not illegal to fire someone for being 'too cute,' Manhattan trial court rules (HT via email from my colleague, Dave Weixel). Geez, first the "irresistible" dental assistant lost, and now this!? Incredibly attractive people just can't catch a break.
- Finally, white Pittsburgh reporter, Wendy Bell, filed a race discrimination lawsuit. She posted something arguably racist on social media and got fired for it. From her attorney: "Had an African-American journalist said the same thing, it wouldn't have generated the same quote-outcry-unquote." Does this remind anybody else of the white reporter from Philly who was fired for using the n-word and claimed that black employees used it and were not fired? We know how that turned out . . . .
